How to Set Up Channels on GoKollab

Channels help organize discussions and content within your GoKollab community. Follow these steps to set them up:

1. Click on Add Channel + at the bottom of left sidebar to add a channel

•  A  pop-up window will appear allowing you to customize the channel.:

 Name: Enter the channel’s name to reflect its purpose.

 Description: Add a brief description to let members know what the channel is for.

Channel Icon: Choose an icon to visually represent the channel.

• A private channel is a locked channel, accessible only to selected members. You can later add specific members to the channel as needed, ensuring that only those who are granted access can view or participate in the discussions.

• When you’re finished adding the details, click Create Channel to finalize and set up your new channel.

2.Edit Channels

Hover over the channel and click on the gear icon to open the channel edit pop-up.

3. Reorder Channels

You can reorder channels in the left sidebar by long-pressing on a channel and dragging it to your desired position

Tips:

• Create channels for specific topics to enhance member engagement.

• Regularly update or reorder channels to keep content organized.
